Key Responsibilities

- Assist surgical teams during operating theater procedures by providing timely and effective support.
- Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies required for each procedure.
- Sterilize and disinfect all surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols to prevent infection.
- Support patients in preparation for surgery and assist with post-operative care as needed to ensure comfort and safety.
- Manage and monitor inventory levels of surgical and operating room supplies to ensure availability and prevent shortages.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, clinical teams, and other hospital departments to facilitate smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the operating theater environment to uphold strict hygiene standards.
- Document and report any equipment malfunctions or supply irregularities to the appropriate personnel promptly.
