Operation Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee the general operations of our branch network across multiple cities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking operations, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, including at least one year in a managerial role. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies while maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all general operations within the branch to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Ensure compliance with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations, Meezan Bank’s internal policies, and branch banking Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during all transaction processing and activities.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to all bank and regulatory policies by branch staff to minimize risk exposure.
- Safeguard the bank from any unwarranted risks through vigilant operational oversight.
- Maintain service standards and ensure transaction turnaround times (TAT) meet the bank’s prescribed benchmarks.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institute or university.
- At least five years of relevant experience in the banking sector, including a minimum of one year as an Operations Manager.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification under JAIBP (Jahangir’s Academy of Banking and Insurance Professionals) is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively manage team interactions and reporting.
- Good knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations.
- Fair understanding of foreign exchange manuals and customer onboarding frameworks.
