Operation Trainee

Quality Aviation (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a motivated Operation Trainee to join its Operations team in Karachi. This full-time trainee position offers a hands-on learning experience designed to develop the candidate into a proficient Operations Executive. The role involves supporting daily operational activities such as travel service processing, customer coordination, documentation, and backend support. The successful candidate will engage in structured tasks and continuous training to build expertise in aviation operations.

Key Responsibilities

Travel Operations Support: Assist with booking flights, hotels, ground transportation, and preparing travel itineraries. Manage Passenger Name Records (PNRs), invoices, confirmations, and travel documents. Coordinate with airlines, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and suppliers to handle reservations and modifications efficiently.

Customer Handling: Maintain professional communication with customers via calls, emails, and messaging platforms. Provide timely updates, confirmations, and relevant travel information. Support complaint resolution and ensure effective follow-up to maintain customer satisfaction.

Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of bookings, customer files, and related documentation. Prepare daily operational reports for supervisors and ensure all paperwork complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Internal Coordination: Collaborate closely with Finance, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), and Ticketing teams to facilitate smooth operations. Assist the operations team in managing workloads and support colleagues during peak periods or urgent situations.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Adhere strictly to company SOPs, quality standards, and deadlines. Ensure accuracy in data entry, booking details, and customer records. Maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity in all assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business, Tourism, Aviation, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates should demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, basic knowledge of travel services including airlines and hotel bookings, and proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. The role demands a problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a collaborative team spirit.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Internship experience in the travel or aviation industry will be considered an advantage. This position offers a monthly starting salary from Rs35,000.
