Sanaullah and Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Associate to join its team in Karachi, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating daily operational activities and act as a liaison between the Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Internal Audit departments. This position requires ensuring that operational processes are well-documented, financially compliant, and aligned with the company’s policies and internal controls, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient workflow execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Support invoice processing, purchase orders, expense tracking, and payment documentation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure all operational transactions are recorded accurately and comply with established accounting policies.
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation to support both internal and external audit requirements.
- Monitor adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal controls to mitigate risks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with vendors, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational and financial issues promptly.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives by providing relevant operational insights and data.
- Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions to maintain compliance.
Required Qualifications
- ACCA, CA, or ICMA qualification or finalist status is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in office administration, operations, or a similar role demonstrating familiarity with operational and financial processes.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of operational workflows and financial control mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical abilities combined with strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage cross-departmental coordination.
