Operations Coordinator (Travel Agency)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team at RBS Tech, supporting our UK-based travel division. This full-time, on-site role is based in Islamabad and requires managing daily operations related to airline reservations, hotel bookings, and transportation logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sabre GDS and a proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage airline reservations, fare searches, ticketing, re-issuance, and cancellations using Sabre GDS.
- Coordinate and process team ticketing requests accurately and within established timelines.
- Oversee hotel booking portals to source accommodations that meet client budgets and preferences.
- Maintain and negotiate relationships with hotel suppliers to secure competitive rates and availability.
- Coordinate transportation logistics and ensure timely dispatch of travel vouchers.
- Monitor airfare trends to optimize costs and secure the best rates for clients.
- Keep detailed records of bookings, vouchers, and operational logs for audit and tracking purposes.
- Provide daily operational support across ticketing, hotel suppliers, and transport partners to ensure smooth workflow.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience with Sabre GDS in a UK-based travel agency environment.
- Strong knowledge of airline ticketing, hotel reservations, and ground transportation operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
