Based in Hyderabad, India, this full-time Operations Manager role within the Source to Pay (S2P) function offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape a newly established Business Services organization. The position involves managing end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, driving operational excellence, and collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Center of Excellence (CoE) team of specialists within the P2P domain, including Accounts Payable, Vendor Operations, and Disbursements.
- Coordinate execution of tasks across all P2P teams to meet performance standards for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Sponsor and support Carrier-related policies and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Drive customer experience (Cx) methodologies within P2P to enhance process efficiency and service quality.
- Foster employee engagement and implement succession planning to build a strong, motivated team.
- Ensure adherence to control and compliance frameworks, maintaining risk mitigation standards.
- Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, promoting a customer-centric approach.
- Monitor and ensure service levels and targets align with cost, quality, and timeliness expectations, adhering to predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Set and evaluate goals and KPIs for sub-teams, providing ongoing performance assessments throughout the year.
- Promote a service-oriented culture and collaboration across P2P teams to deliver high-quality end-to-end services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams located in different geographies and time zones.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize monthly closing processes and support shared service center projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven experience managing a Procure-to-Pay team within a large organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and support decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing operational teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a strong drive to accomplish objectives in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Experience in change management and process transformation initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, international environment.
