Operations Officer

Fancy Industrial Management Services is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Officer to manage the daily operations of its Food Business Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing procurement, coordinating kitchen activities, managing staff, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced food operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of raw materials, food items, packaging, and other essential supplies to support smooth operations.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure accurate preparation and timely completion of orders.
- Supervise operational staff to maintain productivity, discipline, and quality service standards.
- Oversee order processing, packing, dispatch, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to secure materials promptly and at competitive prices.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving service-related issues promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock, control wastage, and assess daily operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality regulations.
- Keep detailed operational records, procurement reports, and order tracking documentation.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in food operations, catering, restaurant management, or similar food service roles.
- Strong skills in coordination, staff management, procurement, and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously while meeting strict delivery deadlines.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in vendor negotiation.
- Competency in MS Office applications and basic inventory management systems.

Job Details:
This is a full-time position based in Karachi within the Food Operations department of Fancy Industrial Management Services. The salary offered is competitive and commensurate with experience, with a monthly pay of Rs70,000. The role requires working on-site to ensure hands-on management of daily operations.
