Operations Representative

This role is responsible for managing all outbound freight shipments from a consolidation warehouse, focusing on refrigerated less-than-truckload (LTL) freight. The position ensures that shipments are routed correctly, consolidated efficiently, and executed on schedule. The individual will coordinate outbound order processing, secure carrier capacity, schedule appointments to optimize operations, and maintain clear communication with warehouse teams. Accurate order entry and timely resolution of any carrier-related issues are essential to guarantee on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage outbound routing for all consolidated refrigerated LTL shipments.
- Execute outbound orders promptly and accurately.
- Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency for both warehouse and carriers.
- Oversee outbound warehouse activities and produce relevant operational reports.
- Ensure precise order entry and maintain detailed reporting for shipment tracking.
- Quickly address and resolve carrier-related issues to prevent shipment delays.

Required Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, warehouse operations, or transportation.
- Strong knowledge of LTL, FTL, and refrigerated freight processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented and analytical approach to ensure order accuracy and compliance with procedures.
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for order entry and shipment tracking.
- Ability to negotiate carrier rates and make informed decisions under pressure.
