Operations Supervisor

Synthetic Natural Gas Distribution Company (SNGDC) is seeking a proactive and disciplined Operational Supervisor to oversee daily operational activities, procurement coordination, labor management, and project site inspections. This full-time position is based in Lahore, with frequent travel required to various project sites across Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of field operations, maintaining accountability, and implementing effective checks and balances across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operational activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks.
- Coordinate procurement processes by verifying quantities, quality, delivery records, and purchase documentation for materials, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor labor attendance, productivity, task allocation, and maintain workforce discipline at project sites.
- Conduct regular and surprise site visits to assess work progress, material usage, labor deployment, and adherence to company guidelines.
- Identify operational discrepancies such as material wastage, unauthorized expenses, and delays, and report findings to management promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to resolve daily operational challenges.
- Prepare and submit daily activity reports, site inspection summaries, procurement updates, and progress photographs to management.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including material receipts, issuance, consumption, and stock availability.
- Travel frequently to different cities to supervise ongoing projects and ensure compliance with operational standards.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum Intermediate or Bachelor's degree; candidates with relevant operational experience will be preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in operations, procurement, construction, infrastructure, or project site supervision.
- Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and enforce accountability measures.
- Willingness to travel frequently across multiple cities.
- Must own a motorcycle or car and possess a valid driving license.
- Proficiency in WhatsApp, MS Excel, and basic reporting/documentation.
- Honest, punctual, disciplined, and capable of working independently in the field.
