Operator

The Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the PET Blowing Machine while strictly adhering to established operational procedures. This role demands ensuring smooth and efficient blowing operations at the rated speed, maintaining quality standards, and minimizing raw material wastage. The operator will also be involved in routine machine maintenance, timely handling of abnormalities, and supporting other departments to achieve overall production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform smooth and efficient blowing operations at the rated speed, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain daily checklists, conduct online inspections, and keep accurate logbooks related to the blowing machine.
- Operate the filler machine in case of block filler requirements, following the responsibilities outlined in the Filler Operator job description.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any abnormalities during machine operation.
- Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance procedures for the blowing machine and its accessories.
- Handle raw materials properly and maintain accurate records related to blowing operations.
- Ensure raw material wastage remains below defined targets.
- Follow instructions from qualified operators, line foremen, and senior staff members.
- Perform quick machine changeovers for different flavors or packaging as required.
- Conduct regular cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance to keep the machine in optimal working condition.
- Provide timely information regarding spare parts requirements.
- Support and facilitate other departments in meeting their production goals.
- Complete assignments as directed by senior personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness of the machine and surrounding work area.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma of Associate Engineering (D.A.E) in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- Relevant work experience of 1 to 3 years in a similar role involving PET blowing machines or related machinery.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree will be considered an advantage.
