- Ensure proper evaluation of new technology solutions, participate in technical workshops.
- Responsible to implement infrastructure components (compute, storage, backup solution, virtual infrastructure).
- Engage and coordinate with partners/vendors in infrastructure implementation activities.
- Design and develop architecture diagrams/artifacts for new solutions.
- Participate in writing technical HLD/LLD.
- Responsible for planning technological transformation of Telenor Pakistan network from existing native to SDN based environment
- Design and develop network architecture for SDN environment while ensuring all design and information security aspects. Working on planning of networking, storage and compute resource management in Open stack ecosystem.
- Work with vendors and Telenor peer organizations to design, test and implement the new SDN platform and IT applications
- You’ll be instrumental in designing, developing and testing code, solving more difficult technical issues, developing integration elements, building data models, APIs, and open 3rd-party SDKs.
- Track emerging cloud standards including interoperability, security, and performance to realize business objectives.
- Process writing to as per ITIL v3 standard to cover process like change management, configuration management, access management, service design to service improvement
- Monitor vendors' release notes and plan necessary upgrades and patches as required
- Put in place process improvements/tools that will result in an increase in the team’s productivity and improvement in the user experience.
