Oracle APEX ERP Developer - TJ / 1925233

Our client, Dekalb Trade Voice, is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX ERP Developer based in Sialkot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications specifically tailored for the textile, leather, and garment manufacturing industries. This role involves working extensively with Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and ORDS technologies to improve business processes and operational efficiency. The developer will collaborate closely with management, functional users, and external consultants to ensure successful ERP implementation, ongoing enhancements, and data security.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain user-friendly ERP applications using Oracle APEX.
- Create forms, interactive grids, reports, dashboards, and approval workflows aligned with business needs.
- Develop reusable application components and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Maintain and enhance PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views, to support application functionality.
- Work with Oracle Database 19c or newer, optimizing database design, indexing, and query performance.
- Write efficient SQL queries and assist with database administration tasks such as backup, restoration, and security patching in coordination with DBAs.
- Support database version upgrades, performance tuning, and ensure application compatibility with database changes.
- Implement enhancements based on detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS).
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, application errors, and performance bottlenecks promptly.
- Support development, integration, and maintenance of core ERP modules including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Production Management, Human Resources Management (HRM), Payroll, Accounts Management, and industry-specific systems like Leather and Sewing Machines Management.
- Ensure integrity of database relationships, transaction processing, and security across ERP modules, facilitating smooth inter-module integration.
- Develop integrations with external systems such as WhatsApp and AI engines through REST and SOAP APIs.
- Document development activities, maintain version-controlled deployment scripts, and produce technical documentation to support maintenance and audits.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in Oracle APEX application development and ERP systems.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database (19c or newer), SQL, and PL/SQL programming.
- Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP API integration.
- Solid understanding of database optimization, indexing, and query tuning.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience working with ERP modules including CRM, SCM, HRM, Payroll, and Accounting.
- Familiarity with manufacturing industry-specific systems, particularly in textile, leather, and garment sectors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with management, users, and consultants.
- Ability to work independently without team management responsibilities.
