Oracle APEX Techno-Functional Developer - TJ / 1901288

Our client, Faisal Movers, is seeking a seasoned Oracle APEX Techno-Functional Developer based in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have over five years of practical experience in Oracle APEX development combined with strong techno-functional expertise. This role demands a deep understanding of Oracle Application Express, Oracle Database Administration, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. The developer will collaborate closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Oracle APEX applications, ensuring smooth integration with other systems and effective data management.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Oracle APEX applications that meet business needs and align with organizational goals.
- Analyze business processes and functional requirements to create effective technical solutions using Oracle APEX and related Oracle technologies.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and other database objects to ensure optimal application performance.
- Build and manage seamless integrations between Oracle APEX applications and external systems through REST APIs and Web Services.
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements, provide expert technical advice, and deliver solutions that drive business success.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues promptly to reduce downtime and enhance system reliability.
- Conduct comprehensive testing, debugging, and performance tuning to improve application responsiveness and user experience.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to keep Oracle APEX applications aligned with evolving business demands.
- Participate in technical design discussions, document solutions, and promote best practices to maintain high-quality development standards.
- Utilize Oracle APEX features such as Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Forms, Dynamic Actions, Ajax calls, and UX/UI components to create intuitive and dynamic applications.
- Manage requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring clear communication between business and technical teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Maintain a strong understanding of database design principles to support scalable and efficient application development.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development and techno-functional roles.
- Proficient in Oracle Application Express (APEX) and Oracle Database Administration.
- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL programming, and database object management.
- Experience with REST API and Web Services integration within Oracle environments.
- Solid understanding of business process analysis and translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex application and database issues.
