Oracle Developer – Textile Manufacturing

A.I Textiles is seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to join its IT team based in Faisalabad. This full-time, on-site role involves hands-on development and maintenance of Oracle database applications that support the company’s textile manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will work closely with factory departments to analyze workflows, optimize existing systems, and develop scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will ensure system stability, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Oracle-based applications and database solutions within the Oracle 12c environment.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL code, including packages, functions, procedures, triggers, and materialized views.
- Analyze user requirements, document processes, and design software solutions tailored to manufacturing and business needs.
- Assist with database administration tasks such as backups, recovery, performance monitoring, access control, and security enforcement.
- Investigate application errors, data inconsistencies, and slow-running reports to provide timely and permanent resolutions.
- Maintain and enhance enterprise-wide reports, forms, workflows, and system integrations.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager on system architecture updates, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
- Support end-users by implementing validation checks to ensure data integrity and consistency across departments.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience developing and supporting Oracle database applications, specifically in Oracle 12c environments.
- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms/Developer or similar Oracle-based enterprise application tools.
- Solid understanding of database modeling, requirements analysis, and the software development life cycle.
- Prior exposure to software support within a textile manufacturing environment, with knowledge of factory production and business workflows.
- Ability to independently diagnose technical problems, communicate solutions clearly, and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Experience with Oracle 10g/11g, Oracle APEX, or Oracle Reports.
- Skills in Oracle database installation, core administration, and advanced performance tuning.
- Experience integrating Oracle systems with third-party software, including FBR-compliant applications.
- Familiarity with textile-specific modules such as production planning, weaving, dyeing, stitching, inventory management, quality control, or dispatch operations.
