Oracle Developer

Dekalb Trade Voice is looking for a talented Oracle Developer to design, develop, and maintain customized ERP applications tailored to the textile, leather, and garment manufacturing sectors. The role focuses on using Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and ORDS technologies to enhance business efficiency and operational control. The developer will work closely with management, functional users, and external consultants to support ERP implementation and ongoing improvements, ensuring data accuracy and security. This position involves full lifecycle development of ERP modules such as CRM, Supply Chain Management, Production Management, Human Resources, Accounting, and specialized manufacturing systems. While this role does not include team management responsibilities, the candidate should have a strong understanding of how technology can optimize workflows and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain user-friendly ERP applications using Oracle APEX.
- Build forms, interactive grids, reports, dashboards, and approval workflows aligned with business requirements.
- Develop reusable application components and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Maintain and enhance PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views to support application functionality.
- Work with Oracle Database 19c or newer, focusing on database design optimization, indexing, and query performance.
- Write efficient SQL queries and assist with database administration tasks such as backup, restoration, and security patching in coordination with DBAs.
- Support database version upgrades, performance tuning, and ensure application compatibility with database changes.
- Implement enhancements based on detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS).
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, application errors, and performance bottlenecks promptly.
- Support development, integration, and maintenance of multiple core ERP modules including CRM, SCM, Production Management, HRM, Payroll, Accounts Management, and industry-specific systems like Leather and Sewing Machines Management.
- Ensure data integrity, transaction processing, and security across ERP modules, facilitating smooth inter-module integration.
- Develop integrations with external systems such as WhatsApp and AI engines via REST and SOAP APIs.
- Document development activities, maintain version-controlled deployment scripts, and produce technical documentation for maintenance and audits.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Oracle APEX application development and PL/SQL programming.
- Proficiency with Oracle Database 19c or newer versions.
- Solid understanding of SQL query optimization and database administration fundamentals.
- Experience in developing and integrating REST and SOAP APIs.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Certifications in Oracle APEX development, Oracle Database SQL/PLSQL, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure are highly desirable.
- Equivalent professional experience demonstrating relevant skills may be considered.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs150,000.
