Oracle EBS HCM Support Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS HCM Support Consultant with a minimum of three years’ hands-on expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12, focusing on Core HR and Payroll modules. The successful candidate will provide functional support, troubleshoot issues, and manage configurations within Oracle HCM, working closely with business users and technical teams. This role requires strong analytical skills to perform root-cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs. The position is based in Karachi and is a full-time, onsite role within the JBS Consulting business unit.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12 HCM applications, specifically Core HR and Payroll modules.
- Troubleshoot functional, transactional, and application-related issues, including HR and Payroll transaction errors.
- Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and deliver effective functional solutions.
- Work alongside technical teams to resolve issues requiring technical investigation or customization.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring problems and support Oracle HCM setups, configurations, and business process changes.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and problem tickets in line with SLA commitments.
- Deliver production support within Application Management Services (AMS) environments.
- Support HR and Payroll testing, enhancements, deployments, and production releases.
- Analyze HR and Payroll transactions and their downstream accounting impacts, validating Oracle accounting flows where applicable.
- Prepare functional specifications, requirements documentation, test scenarios, and user support materials.
- Participate in system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Assist business users during critical HR and Payroll processing cycles.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth issue resolution and implementation of enhancements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, HR, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12, specifically in HCM functional consulting.
- Proven hands-on experience in Oracle Core HR and Payroll modules.
- Practical knowledge of Oracle EBS HCM setups, configurations, and production support within AMS environments.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end HR, Payroll, accounting, and transaction processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions and prepare clear documentation for technical teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working effectively within SLA-driven support environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
