Oracle EBS SCM Support Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS SCM Support Consultant with a minimum of three years’ hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12, particularly in the Purchasing, Inventory, and Order Management modules. The role involves providing functional support, troubleshooting issues, supporting setups and configurations, and collaborating closely with business users and technical teams. The consultant will be responsible for root-cause analysis, functional documentation, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests within SLA timelines. This full-time position is based onsite in Karachi within the JBS Consulting business unit.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12 SCM applications, focusing on Purchasing, Inventory, and Order Management.
- Troubleshoot functional, transactional, and application-related issues affecting procurement, inventory transactions, order processing, and fulfillment.
- Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
- Collaborate with business users to understand requirements, investigate issues, and deliver functional solutions.
- Work alongside technical teams to address issues requiring technical investigation, including reports, interfaces, or customizations.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring functional and transaction-related problems.
- Manage Oracle EBS SCM setups, configurations, and business process changes.
- Ensure incidents, service requests, and problem tickets are resolved within agreed SLA timelines.
- Provide production support within Application Management Services (AMS) environments.
- Support SCM-related testing, enhancements, deployments, and production releases.
- Analyze and troubleshoot transactions related to purchasing, inventory, sales orders, shipping, and fulfillment.
- Validate Oracle accounting flows and transaction accounting associated with SCM transactions.
- Prepare functional specifications and requirements documentation for technical teams.
- Translate business requirements into functional solutions and communicate them effectively.
- Develop functional documentation, test scenarios, and user support materials as needed.
- Participate in system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Support business users during critical procurement, inventory, and order-processing activities.
- Coordinate with Finance, SCM, technical, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth issue resolution and enhancement implementation.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
- Proven hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS SCM Functional Consultant.
- Strong functional expertise in Oracle Purchasing, Inventory, and Order Management modules.
- Practical experience with Oracle EBS SCM setups, configurations, and production support.
- Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
- Experience working in Oracle EBS Production Support or AMS environments.
- Good knowledge of Oracle accounting flows and transaction accounting related to SCM.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and translate business requirements into functional solutions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Oracle EBS Financials/SCM certification is advantageous.
- Experience with Oracle Workflow and Approvals Management Engine (AME) is preferred.
- Exposure to Advanced SCM modules will be considered a plus.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently within SLA-driven production support environments.
