Oracle EBS Technical Consultant - APEX & Integrations - TJ / 1911390

Our client, Octans Digital, is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant specializing in APEX and integrations to join their team in Faisalabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing complex integrations and automations, including REST APIs and application security measures. This role involves supporting application deployment, testing, and operational activities while collaborating closely with database administrators, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure seamless business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain custom reports using BI Publisher, XML Publisher, RDF, and other Oracle reporting tools.
- Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and various database objects to support enterprise applications.
- Build and enhance Oracle APEX applications using PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 technologies, creating interactive dashboards, reports, forms, grids, charts, and customized user interfaces.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and develop corresponding application solutions.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, JSON integrations, and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) to facilitate seamless communication between applications.
- Implement and support Oracle Workflow solutions and integrate multiple enterprise applications and services.
- Provide ongoing Oracle EBS technical support, including customization and report development to meet evolving business needs.
- Ensure compliance with Oracle development standards, maintain code quality, enforce security protocols, and optimize application performance.
- Optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and reports to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and business expectations.
- Coordinate with Database Administrators, Infrastructure, and Support teams for deployment, testing, and production support activities.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and production environment issues efficiently.
- Implement advanced AI-enabled features within Oracle APEX applications, including AI agents and AI tools.
- Leverage modern AI technologies such as Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Search, and AI-assisted development methods to drive innovation.
- Support data migration, release management, and post-production operational activities to ensure uninterrupted business functions.
- Document technical designs, development processes, and change management procedures comprehensively.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply new knowledge to enhance enterprise solutions and development frameworks.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS Technical Development and/or Oracle APEX Application Development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, reporting technologies, integrations, and enterprise applications.
- Deep understanding of Oracle EBS modules, particularly Core HR, Payroll, and General Ledger.
- Proficiency in Oracle development tools and reporting technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in Oracle technical architecture and advanced database and front-end web technologies.
- Proven ability to develop complex PL/SQL code and build enterprise-grade Oracle APEX applications.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON integrations, and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
