Oracle FLEXCUBE Functional Support Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Oracle FLEXCUBE Functional Support Consultant to provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for Oracle FLEXCUBE On-Premise environments. The consultant will handle parameterization, product configuration, issue resolution, business process support, and enhancement requests across various core banking modules. This role requires close collaboration with business users, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth functioning of the banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide daily support for Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking applications, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Perform FLEXCUBE parameterization and configure banking products, customer accounts, interest rules, charges, fees, limits, and accounting entries.
- Analyze and resolve production issues within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Support critical batch activities including End of Day (EOD), Beginning of Day (BOD), and other periodic processing.
- Conduct impact analysis and testing for any configuration changes to minimize business disruption.
- Coordinate effectively with business users, operations teams, and technical resources to resolve issues promptly.
- Manage change requests, system enhancements, and regulatory updates to keep the system compliant and up-to-date.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and maintain support documentation for reference and audit purposes.
- Participate actively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments to ensure smooth rollouts.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend preventive measures to improve system reliability.

Required Qualifications

- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE On-Premise environments.
- Strong expertise in FLEXCUBE parameterization and product configuration.
- In-depth knowledge of core banking operations and banking products.
- Proven experience in incident and problem management within production environments.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and troubleshooting purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to support production banking applications effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Oracle FLEXCUBE certification is highly desirable.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Banking Modules

Experience with the following banking modules will be considered a plus: CASA, Loans, Payments, Trade Finance, Customer Information File (CIF), General Ledger, and Teller Operations.
