Oracle WebLogic Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Oracle WebLogic Administrator to manage and support mission-critical Oracle FLEXCUBE On-Premise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, deployment, tuning, and troubleshooting of Oracle WebLogic environments across multiple stages including Development, Test, UAT, and Production. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of the WebLogic infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer Oracle WebLogic Server environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production landscapes.
- Deploy and manage FLEXCUBE application components efficiently.
- Monitor WebLogic server performance, availability, and security to maintain system integrity.
- Perform regular patching and upgrades of WebLogic Server to keep the environment up to date.
- Configure managed servers, clusters, and implement load balancing to optimize resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot middleware-related incidents promptly to minimize downtime.
- Monitor JVM performance and memory utilization to ensure smooth application functioning.
- Support application deployments and coordinate release activities with relevant teams.
- Configure SSL certificates and security settings to safeguard communication channels.
- Maintain detailed environment documentation and operational procedures for consistency and compliance.
- Support disaster recovery plans and high-availability configurations to guarantee business continuity.

Required Qualifications

- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle WebLogic Server Administration.
- Strong expertise in application deployment management within WebLogic environments.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration to manage underlying operating systems.
- Experience in SSL configuration and security settings for WebLogic servers.
- Skilled in WebLogic performance tuning to optimize server efficiency.
- Competence in middleware monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to write and maintain shell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Expertise in log analysis and root cause identification to support incident resolution.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for enhanced monitoring and management.
- Experience working with Apache Web Server and load balancers to support complex architectures.
- Knowledge of Oracle FLEXCUBE architecture is highly desirable to better understand application dependencies.
