Oracle WebLogic Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Oracle WebLogic Administrator to manage and support our middleware environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production stages. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration, application deployment, and performance monitoring. This role involves maintaining high availability, security, and optimal performance of WebLogic servers while supporting critical business applications such as FLEXCUBE. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer Oracle WebLogic Server environments across multiple stages including Development, Test, UAT, and Production.
- Deploy and manage FLEXCUBE application components efficiently.
- Monitor WebLogic Server performance, availability, and security to ensure stable operations.
- Perform regular WebLogic patching and version upgrades to maintain system integrity.
- Configure managed servers, clusters, and implement load balancing strategies.
- Troubleshoot middleware-related incidents to minimize downtime and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor JVM performance and memory utilization to optimize resource usage.
- Support application deployments and coordinate release activities with relevant teams.
- Configure SSL certificates and manage security settings to safeguard the environment.
- Maintain comprehensive environment documentation and operational procedures for consistency.
- Support disaster recovery plans and high-availability configurations to ensure business continuity.

Required Qualifications

- 4 to 8 years of experience in Oracle WebLogic Server Administration.
- Proven expertise in application deployment management within WebLogic environments.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.
- Experience in SSL configuration and security management.
- Proficiency in WebLogic performance tuning and optimization.
- Skilled in middleware monitoring and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to write and maintain shell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Competence in log analysis and root cause identification to resolve complex issues.

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications

- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and management.
- Familiarity with Apache Web Server and load balancer configuration.
- Understanding of Oracle FLEXCUBE architecture is highly desirable.
- Oracle WebLogic Server Administration Certification is preferred.
- ITIL Foundation Certification is an advantage, supporting IT service management best practices.
