Bazhong Shoes Pvt Ltd, located at Port Qasim, Karachi is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. This role requires proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliation to support the company’s financial operations and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting principles and is adept at using accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. The Accountant will perform routine accounting tasks, monitor financial transactions, and support audits while ensuring all financial practices align with legal requirements and company policies. This position demands a high level of accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team. Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of basic taxation, including sales tax and withholding taxes, to effectively handle accounting duties within a dynamic business environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the general ledger ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and manage invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with basic tax filings and compliance (Sales Tax / Income Tax)
- Generate financial reports as required
- Coordinate with management on financial matters
