Outre Executive is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Accountant with a minimum of five years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate demonstrates honesty and integrity while managing comprehensive financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations. This position requires expertise in general ledger management, audit coordination, and data analysis to support informed financial decision-making. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting systems, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes. This role does not involve managing a team but requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, coupled with excellent data interpretation skills to identify trends and variances. They will proactively coordinate audit activities and assist in improving internal financial controls. As a key contributor to Outre Executive's financial health, this position demands a commitment to ethical standards and consistent professional conduct in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage general ledger accounts accurately and timely to ensure financial data integrity.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in financial processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements regarding financial reporting and recordkeeping.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation required for audits and regulatory filings.
  • Monitor and report on budget variances, providing financial insights to assist management in decision-making.
  • Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, laws, and best practices to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and forecasting activities.
