Packaging Cost Estimator – US Shift

Mugshei Pvt Ltd, located in Garden Town, Lahore, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Packaging Cost Estimator to join their team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role operates during the US night shift from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive quotations for custom packaging products, primarily serving clients in the US market. The position offers a basic salary ranging from PKR 70,000 to 100,000, complemented by an attractive commission structure. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare precise cost estimates and quotations for custom packaging boxes based on client specifications.
- Calculate all relevant costs including materials, printing, production, shipping, and profit margins.
- Analyze packaging details such as box dimensions, materials, printing methods, finishing options, and order quantities.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely production schedules.
- Develop competitive quotations tailored for US-based clients while safeguarding company profit margins.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide prompt pricing support and quotations.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to achieve cost-effective production solutions.
- Maintain and update pricing records, vendor quotations, and costing documentation.
- Review customer requirements and recommend cost-efficient packaging solutions.
- Ensure all quotations are accurate and delivered within established deadlines.
- Monitor market pricing trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Coordinate with production and sales teams to facilitate smooth order processing.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in cost estimation within the custom packaging industry.
- Strong knowledge of various packaging types including corrugated boxes, rigid boxes, and folding cartons.
- Understanding of printing techniques, finishing processes, die-cutting, and packaging production workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost calculation methods.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple quotations simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to work during US business hours (night shift).
