Packaging Designer

Brandsface, a leading custom packaging company based in Nazimabad No. 2, Karachi, specializes in designing and producing premium packaging solutions across various categories such as folding cartons, rigid boxes, paper bags, labels, stickers, and tags. We are seeking a talented and creative Packaging Designer with a strong understanding of packaging structures, graphic design, and commercial printing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative packaging designs and preparing technically accurate, print-ready production files that meet client specifications and production standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Design packaging for folding cartons, bleached card boxes, rigid (fancy) boxes, paper bags, stickers, labels, and tags.
- Develop creative artwork, layouts, and packaging concepts tailored to client requirements.
- Prepare precise, print-ready files suitable for commercial production.
- Create and modify packaging die lines and structural layouts to ensure design feasibility.
- Prepare artwork considering CMYK, Pantone colors, bleed, margins, and finishing specifications.
- Understand and prepare files for printing blocks, foil stamping, embossing, debossing, and Spot UV applications.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure designs are technically viable.
- Revise designs and artwork based on client feedback and production constraints.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in packaging and graphic design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong knowledge of print-ready file preparation and commercial printing requirements.
- Practical understanding of packaging die lines and structural layouts.
- Familiarity with various printing processes, materials, and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of offset printing, digital printing, lamination, foiling, and embossing.
- Ability to work independently while managing deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
