Packaging Designer

Key Responsibilities
- Develop packaging concepts and dielines from initial brief through to final artwork, ensuring designs are visually appealing, functional, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Create packaging layouts, select appropriate materials and finishes, and collaborate with branding and marketing teams to maintain cohesive visual communication.
- Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with print technicians to review proofs, troubleshoot design or production issues, and refine artwork to ensure color accuracy and structural integrity.
- Maintain design assets and manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in packaging quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Packaging Design and Product Design, particularly for consumer-facing goods and retail packaging.
- Proven ability in Branding and Graphic Design to develop cohesive, on-brand visual systems.
- Proficiency in typography and layout, with a keen eye for hierarchy, legibility, and overall aesthetics.
- Advanced skills in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, including the creation of dielines and print-ready files.
- Solid understanding of print processes, materials, finishing techniques, and basic structural packaging principles.
- Ability to interpret client briefs accurately and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while managing multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, supported by a portfolio showcasing relevant packaging and graphic design work.
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
