INDUSTRIAL Electrician

PACT Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd. seeks a skilled Industrial Electrician to join their team in Lahore, Pakistan. The candidate is responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work primarily at industrial and commercial sites. The role demands hands-on expertise with three-phase electrical systems, LT panels, distribution boards, motor control centers, breakers, contactors, control circuits, transformers, motors, and generators. Adherence to industrial safety standards and electrical codes is vital for maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate holds a technical diploma or certificate in Electrical or Electrical Technology and brings 2 to 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience. The professional is expected to conduct preventive maintenance, electrical testing, and problem diagnosis using appropriate electrical testing instruments. The position involves working in various industrial/commercial project sites and requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to safety procedures, good housekeeping discipline, and the ability to follow site regulations. This role does not include managing a team but demands independent and proactive work habits.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot three-phase electrical power systems ensuring reliable operation.
- Conduct electrical wiring installations including cable termination, panel wiring, and control circuit configurations.
- Work extensively on low-tension panels, distribution boards, motor control centers, breakers, and contactors to ensure operational integrity.
- Inspect and service transformers, motors, generators, and additional electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Perform earthing tasks and apply electrical safety protocols compliant with OSHA and local industrial safety standards.
- Utilize electrical testing equipment to conduct diagnostics, evaluate performance, and verify repairs.
- Identify electrical faults through systematic troubleshooting and implement effective corrective maintenance.
- Contribute to preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment longevity and minimize downtime.
- Conduct site surveys to assess electrical system conditions and recommend necessary improvements.
- Follow established electrical safety procedures rigorously to maintain a secure work environment.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to support safety and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with site management and other disciplines to coordinate electrical work for project success.
