Paid Social Executive (Contractor) – Media Buying | Meta & TikTok Ads | Acquisition Strategy

We are seeking a proactive Paid Social Executive to manage and optimize return on ad spend for a portfolio of e-commerce clients. This contractor role involves full ownership of ad accounts, primarily on Meta platforms with some TikTok involvement depending on client needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Growth Strategist to translate high-level strategies into actionable campaigns, ensuring consistent performance improvements and alignment with client goals. Candidates must be proficient in English and able to work within approximately two hours of UK time.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the day-to-day management and performance of ad accounts within your portfolio, focusing mainly on Meta and occasionally TikTok.
- Conduct thorough audits of ad accounts using platform data and Triple Whale analytics to inform strategy and optimizations rather than simply executing given instructions.
- Collaborate with the Growth Strategist to convert overarching paid social strategies into detailed, actionable plans for each account.
- Test and scale creative assets effectively, working with both internal and external creative teams.
- Monitor client targets closely and provide clear, proactive updates on pacing and performance, including detailed commentary beyond just numerical results.
- Report key insights, challenges, and strategic recommendations to the Growth Strategist regularly.
- Ensure all account actions are aligned with the objectives and KPIs established by the Growth Strategist.
- Maintain excellent ad account hygiene by applying clear structure and consistent naming conventions.

Required Qualifications

- Extensive experience managing Meta Ads at a high level for e-commerce brands, with TikTok experience considered a plus but not mandatory.
- Proven track record of managing substantial budgets, ideally $250k+ per month, with genuine ownership and accountability for results.
- Prior agency experience or in-house management of 7–8 figure e-commerce accounts is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with a variety of DTC categories such as supplements, skincare, fashion, and home care is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of Shopify and the direct-to-consumer e-commerce landscape.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills to quickly adapt to diverse client needs.
- Ability to work within approximately two hours of UK business hours.
