As a Sales Engineer at Pak Elektron Limited, you play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical knowledge and customer needs. Your primary focus will be on promoting our electrical engineering products, particularly Switchgear and Transformers, by providing detailed technical sales support and solutions to clients. With a strong foundation in electrical engineering and a knack for proposal writing and negotiation, you will translate complex technical specifications into comprehensible concepts for our clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage client expectations will be essential in fostering long-lasting and productive relationships, thereby driving sales and business growth. Although this position does not require managing a team, working collaboratively with various departments to ensure client satisfaction is key to your success in this role. You will also have opportunities to travel for official assignments to meet clients and support project needs effectively.
Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, emphasizing the benefits and application of Switchgear and Transformers.
  • Develop and write comprehensive technical proposals and quotations based on client requirements and specifications.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their electrical engineering requirements.
  • Utilize your knowledge of costing for MV/LV Switchgear to prepare accurate pricing for projects, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profit margins.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop solutions for complex projects and address any technical inquiries raised by clients.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring a smooth transition from initial contact to project handoff.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and explore new sales opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Ability to negotiate terms and conditions effectively with clients, aiming for win-win outcomes that benefit both parties.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to internal stakeholders to keep them informed about market trends, client feedback, and sales forecasts.
  • Travel as needed to meet clients on-site, perform assessments, and support ongoing projects, ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Handle difficult clients and complex projects with professionalism, employing effective problem-solving skills to manage challenges and maintain strong client relations.
  • Contribute to team efforts by sharing feedback and insights from clients to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
