Cashier

Pak Madina Store is looking for a reliable Cashier with at least 2 years of experience. The Cashier is responsible for processing customer payments, handling cash and other payment methods, providing friendly customer service, and keeping the checkout area clean and organized. The role also includes balancing the cash register at the end of each shift and following company policies to ensure accurate and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

Process customer transactions accurately using the point of sale (POS) system, including cash, credit, and electronic payments.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving any payment-related issues.
Manage cash handling duties by counting, receiving, and disbursing cash or other forms of payment while following company policies and procedures.
Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to promote a welcoming environment for customers.
Perform cash reconciliation at the end of each shift, balancing the cash register and preparing reports using cash reconciliation software.
Monitor inventory levels at the checkout and communicate stock needs or discrepancies to management.
Adhere strictly to company policies regarding cash management, security, and transaction processing.
Handle all payment transactions responsibly to minimize risks of errors and losses.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to reduce customer wait times and improve service flow.
Collaborate with store employees to support smooth business operations and deliver excellent customer experiences.
