We are seeking a results-oriented Account Manager / Sales Manager to lead sales growth and manage distributor relationships within Pakistan. This role focuses on expanding our partner network, closing key accounts, and implementing the country’s sales strategy in alignment with regional objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the solar or renewable energy sector and a proven ability to drive revenue through distributor channels rather than direct EPC sales.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored for the Pakistan market, emphasizing distributor acquisition and management. Identify, onboard, and nurture relationships with local solar distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts to strengthen the partner ecosystem. Consistently achieve and surpass annual sales targets in terms of both volume and revenue, ensuring alignment with broader regional business plans.
Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to share market insights, provide pricing guidance, and support promotional activities. Work closely with the Service Manager to guarantee that technical support and after-sales service meet or exceed partner expectations. Collect and analyze market intelligence related to competitors, pricing trends, and customer preferences to continuously refine the go-to-market approach.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, delivering weekly and monthly sales forecasts to regional management. Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and partner events across Pakistan and the MEA region, enhancing brand visibility and fostering new business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of five years’ sales experience within the solar or renewable energy sector, with a proven track record of success in the Pakistani market. Established network of distributor contacts in Pakistan, including key players such as C.J., ABC Solar, Harolds, or comparable organizations.
Demonstrated ability to close deals and manage a multi-million-dollar sales pipeline effectively. Strong understanding of the residential solar market, with commercial and industrial (C&I) experience considered an advantage. Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in Urdu and/or regional languages is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel extensively within Pakistan and occasionally to MEA locations such as Dubai and Kenya. An entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to work independently and build a team from the ground up.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
While not explicitly stated, candidates with C&I solar market experience will have an added advantage. The role offers the opportunity to represent a growing company at key industry events and to play a pivotal role in expanding the solar market footprint in Pakistan and the broader MEA region. The position encourages proactive leadership and strategic thinking in a dynamic and evolving sector.
