Oracle Technical Developer

As an Oracle Technical Developer at Pakistan Cables Limited, you play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency of our database applications. You possess a strong foundation in Oracle technologies, particularly in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Application Framework. With your technical expertise, you analyze business requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet the demands of our operational environment. The ideal candidate has at least three years of hands-on experience in Oracle development and is adept at maintaining existing applications while optimizing their performance. You bring valuable insights from your experience in industries such as manufacturing, textiles, electrical, and electronic appliances, contributing to effective and innovative development solutions. In this position, while you do not manage a team, you collaborate closely with various stakeholders including functional teams, ensuring that technical designs align with business needs. Your familiarity with web technologies enhances your capability to integrate customized applications seamlessly into existing systems, thereby elevating the level of service provided by our database applications. Your role requires a commitment to thorough documentation and ongoing support for the applications you develop, which is essential for the sustainability of operational systems at Pakistan Cables Limited.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and triggers to enhance performance and efficiency.
Analyze and interpret business requirements to formulate effective technical solutions.
Optimize and troubleshoot Oracle Forms, Reports, and overall database performance to ensure reliability.
Develop user-friendly forms using Form builders and the Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
Provide continuous support and maintenance for existing Oracle Forms and Reports applications, ensuring smooth operation.
Collaborate with functional teams to create technical designs that ensure modularity, scalability, and meet user needs.
Integrate customized applications with Oracle standard application modules for seamless functionality.
Maintain comprehensive and clear technical documentation for all applications and solutions developed.
Demonstrate a good understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and .NET Core to improve application integration and functioning.
