We are looking for a talented and motivated Database Developer with practical experience in Oracle database development. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of professional experience in database programming, data modeling, and ETL processes. The role requires strong skills in PL/SQL, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and data warehousing concepts to deliver efficient and scalable database solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Oracle database schemas, queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Conduct schema design, perform code reviews, and apply query tuning techniques to ensure high performance.
- Develop, schedule, and maintain ETL pipelines using ODI and other relevant tools for seamless data integration and transformation.
- Implement data modeling techniques and data warehouse (DWH) strategies to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across multiple systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable database solutions.
- Follow industry best practices and maintain high-quality, efficient code in all database development activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle database development.
- Strong command of PL/SQL and deep understanding of query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or similar ETL tools.
- Solid background in data modeling, data warehousing, and data transformation techniques.
- Experience with indexing, partitioning, and basic database administration is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
