- Deployment of java applications according to SOP on Test, Training, staging and production environments.
- Preparation (installation/configuration) of Linux/Java and JBoss based environments
- Installation/configuration) of JBoss As7.x or above
- Configuration/installation of latest monitoring/log analysis tools available.
- Monitoring/Troubleshooting of all Application nodes in Web Farms (Linux/jboss).
- Hands on implementation/configuration of web security on application layer (SSL certificates etc.)
- Maintaining of Backups
- Preparation of related documents using Visio/relevant tools.
Essential Skills:
- Working experience/knowledge of Enterprise level large web application environments (Web Farms/Clusters)
- Experience in installing/configuring Linux Red hat/Oracle Linux and other related components.
- Installation/ configuration Jboss As7.x or above
- Jboss Monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting to make sure high availability and reliability
- knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Experience in the Spring Framework
- working experience in Java development using Eclipse required for debugging and bug identification purposes.
- Hands on documenting tools (Visio etc.)
