Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is looking for a dynamic individual responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, to build an audience and ensure customer engagement. The Specialist will also monitor site metrics, respond to reader comments, and oversee creative design. This position will require you to promote the brand, service, and product to the associated audiences on social media. Your goal will be to create a new following for market and brand awareness, for which you will need to have the strategic sense required to build or optimize social media strategy. It is also essential that you are aware of social trends and can conduct a thorough media analysis. You will work with our marketing team to help develop brand awareness about our company through social media.
Responsibilities
Planning
- Conceptualize, optimize and execute a social media strategy for PSW that aligns with the company’s overall communications objectives
- Use data to analyze what’s working, what’s not, and reinforce or refocus key messages accordingly
- Help convert our brand fans into loyal customers with engaging, responsive, responsible, surprising, and captivating social media interactions
- Work with the Communications Manager to create and maintain social media content calendar and manage social media spending/boosting plan
- Understand the targeted audience for each social channel and create tailored and persuasive content that strikes a chord with the intended audience
- Analyze data and sentiment metrics to create a better understanding of the target audience and other stakeholders
- Extract insights and make data-driven recommendations
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices
Creative
- Write long- and short-form social media messages that attract new users and engage current users
- Keep social media platforms up to date with high-quality content assets that elevate our social media presence
- Assess new platforms to reach a broader market
- Develop and launch organic and paid campaigns to build PSW’s following and engagement
Technical
- Leverage social media marketing tools such as Buffer, HubSpot or Hootsuite for scheduling, monitoring, listening and analysis
- Use Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to create static and animated visual assets for social media
General
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal teams to ensure promotion of all PSW-related products, modules, and other updates or events.
- Other relevant tasks assigned by the Communication Manager
Qualifications, Experience & Technical Competencies:
- Bachelors in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations
- Proven working experience in Social Media Marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Excellent communication skills in English (level C1 and above), and Urdu, with the ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Strong creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and an eye for visual aesthetics to curate compelling social media posts
- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels

Pakistan Single Window
Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is an ICT-based system in Pakistan providing a single window for trade. PSW is a facility that allows parties involved in trade and transport to lodge standardized information and documents at a single-entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. If information is electronic, then individual data elements need to be submitted only once. PSW will connect relevant government departments with each other and with economic operators like importers, exporters, customs agents, shipping agents, transporters etc, in Pakistan for efficient management of cross border trade. It will provide the ease and transparency in achieving compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, through an on-line facility, that will intelligently handle the information for each transaction without the need to provide same information more than once or to physically visit such government departments. Pakistan has committed to implement various provisions of World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement that includes implementation of a National Single Window (NSW) system before February, 2022. Pakistan also needs PSW implementation to overhaul management of its external trade for reducing time, cost and complexity involved to improve its position in various global rankings on competitiveness and ease of doing business. Guiding vision and mission objectives: VISION: Pakistan will establish a world-class automated hub by 2022, offering services and creating efficiencies, to reduce cross border trade related costs, time and complications for improved trade facilitation and compliance. MISSION: Improve cross-border trader processing by providing centralized ICT based services, simplified processes, effective and reliable automation, harmonized data exchange and risk-based selectivity in enforcement of government’s regulations.
