- The Lab Technician performs ASTM prescribed testing of plant production samples to ensure acceptable product quality.
- The position will require analysis of destructive testing or packing, bricks, mortars and PYROFLEX acid resistant sheet lining including thermal shock, sonic, moisture expansion, flame impingement, ash content, physical dimensions, moisture absorption, crush strength, acid solubility, acid resistance and moisture content.
- The position will include conducting research and development prototype testing of new products and existing product modifications for performance characteristic analysis.
- This position will provide back up support for the Process Quality Coordinator.
