Qualifications
• Automation of server configuration, monitoring/alerting, and provisioning
• Support Linux storage environment (DAS/NAS, Lustre HPC)
• Act as the subject matter expert for advanced Linux related issues
• 5+ years of Linux Redhat/CentOS administration experience required
Additional experience in the following areas:
• Scripting and automation experience in Bash, Python, or equivalent
• Working with automation and configuration management tools such as Salt and Ansible
• Strong understanding of network layers and technologies, specifically host-based
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, Grafana, and Nagios
• Experience with File Systems and network-attached storage, NFS/CIFS/Kerberos

• Maintain and improve Linux build standards
• Evaluate new Kernel updates, drivers, and patches
• Performance analysis and tuning of server hardware and Linux build for low latency, including CPU performance/scheduling, network interface stack

What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field of study or equivalent professional experience; RHCE certifications are a plus
• 5+ years of Linux Redhat/CentOS administration experience required
• Additional experience in the following areas:
• Scripting and automation experience in Bash, Python, or equivalent
• Working with automation and configuration management tools such as Salt and Ansible
• Strong understanding of network layers and technologies, specifically host-based • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, Grafana, and Nagios
• Kernel bypass, Solarflare Onload, and PTP a plus
• Experience with File Systems and network-attached storage, NFS/CIFS/Kerberos
• Experience migrating from one Linux distro to another is a plus • Server HW and Data Center experience a plus
• Self-motivated, driven team player with superior communication skills
