We are looking for a Data Engineer with practical experience in developing data systems and pipelines.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Strong English-language communication skills.
- Professional experience with Python.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data systems as well as services.
- Familiarity with containerized platforms like Docker or Podman or Kubernetes.
- Well-versed in source control with Git.
- Understanding of fundamental database concepts - relational (SQL) database, non-relational (NoSQL) database and ORMs/ODMs.
- Experience with common data science libraries, such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, BeautifulSoup and Selenium.
- Ability to scrape web applications, both static and dynamic, with proven experience.
- Comfortable parsing all types of data formats (JSON, XML etc.) whether it is structured or unstructured.
- Basic understanding of image processing.
Duties:
- Gather and address technical and design requirements.
- Develop high quality, well documented, and efficient code.
- Responsible for gathering, organizing, and transforming data.
- Design, develop and optimize databases.
- Develop efficient data pipelines to process large amounts of data.
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
