A lahore based renowned restaurant seeks a reliable Cashier with at least five years of experience in the restaurant industry and a minimum qualification of Bachelor of Commerce. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent cash handling accuracy, proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems, and strong attention to detail. This role requires punctuality, trustworthiness, and the ability to maintain an organized cashier counter to ensure smooth restaurant operations. The Cashier will be responsible for processing orders, handling transactions efficiently, and reconciling currency accurately to support the business's financial integrity. The Cashier plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience by communicating clearly and managing transactions quickly and accurately. The successful candidate will apply basic math skills and time management to maintain cash register operation and order processing throughout busy service periods. Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Point Of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers.
- Manage currency handling and reconciliation at the end of each shift to ensure cash balance integrity.
- Process orders and transactions promptly while maintaining high attention to detail to avoid errors.
- Keep the cashier counter clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies for smooth operation.
- Follow established cash handling procedures and safeguard company assets against loss or theft.
- Provide clear and polite communication to customers during transactions and respond to basic inquiries.
- Job Timings are 3: 00 PM to 11:30 PM.
- Apply basic math skills to calculate costs, give correct change, and balance cash drawers.
- Punctually start shifts and demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness throughout working hours.
- Work closely with restaurant staff to coordinate order processing and support operational workflow.
- Ensure compliance with all restaurant policies and regulations regarding cash handling and transaction procedures.
