We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager Accounts and Finance to lead and oversee the financial operations of a well-established restaurant located on Main Ferozepur Road, Lahore. This role requires managing a team of 15 persons while ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient budget and cost control. The ideal candidate will be CA Inter qualified with at least three years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong skills in financial accounting, audit management, and store and inventory controls. This position involves working within a professional environment that supports career growth and provides comprehensive benefits including accommodation and meals. The Manager Accounts and Finance plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of the company. Key responsibilities include developing budgets and forecasts, performing detailed financial and variance analyses, managing audits, and enforcing internal controls. The role demands proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel along with excellent analytical and leadership skills to drive cost control measures and support strategic decision-making. Working hours are from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, positioned to accommodate operational needs while maintaining an effective balance between team leadership and meticulous financial management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounts and finance team comprising 15 members to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting principles, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements applicable to the restaurant and its operations.
- Oversee audit processes, collaborating with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth and comprehensive audits.
- Monitor store and inventory management to align with financial controls and reporting standards.
- Implement cost control strategies to optimize expenditure and enhance profitability.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain and enhance internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Utilize accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for effective data analysis and reporting.
- Manage risk assessment procedures to mitigate financial risks and ensure organizational stability.
- Coordinate tax filings and ensure timely compliance with all taxation requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to finance team members promoting professional development and optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with other departments including procurement and operations to align financial objectives with overall business goals.
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions in line with approved policies.
- Support top management with strategic financial planning and business development initiatives.
