Partner Billing Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of partner-related billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple partner programs including Insurance, Strategic, Franchise, and Networks.
- Manage Purchase Order (PO) requisitions and forecasts, driving approval workflows to maintain compliance and prevent payment delays.
- Serve as the primary financial liaison between external partners and internal teams (Billing, Finance, Partnerships), resolving billing inquiries and ensuring alignment.
- Maintain data integrity by writing and executing SQL queries on Snowflake to manage partnership-related charges, collaborating closely with the Partnerships Operations Manager for accurate reporting.
- Support partner onboarding by working with the Partnerships Operations Manager to integrate new partners into Motive’s financial systems and tools.
- Define and maintain payout logic and tracking systems to ensure transparent and accurate revenue sharing and partner payouts.

Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of professional experience in Operations, Business Administration, Partnerships, or related analytical fields. Experience in Billing, Finance Operations, Partner Operations, or Accounts Payable/Receivable is highly preferred but not mandatory if strong operational and analytical skills are demonstrated.
- Strong willingness to learn and apply SQL and AI tools; ability to write and execute basic SQL queries to manage datasets across business systems. Training will be provided if needed.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with accountability for individual and team outcomes, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving.
- Highly organized and self-sufficient with experience managing complex PO requisitions, forecasting, and cross-departmental approval processes with minimal supervision.
- Sound independent judgment and the ability to navigate ambiguity by leveraging policies and precedents, knowing when to escalate issues appropriately.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of translating operational and financial requirements into actionable items for both external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data stewardship, tracking complex logic, and maintaining accuracy using tools like Google Sheets or Excel.
