Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Ensure Health and safety and environmental compliance at work site in accordance to the prepared “Work Place Health and Safety plane”.
- Perform quality control checks at various work sites.
- To inspect processes and work execution to ensure good environment management and H&S practices including traffic management.
- Carrying out inspections and risk assessments, and thinking about how risks could be reduced.
- Keeping records of accidents and inspection findings. Investigating accidents and recommending improvements to health and safety standards.
- Writing reports to suggest improvements.
- Advising on use of protective clothing and safety equipment.
- Ensuring equipment is safely installed.
- Organizing safe disposal of hazardous substances (e.g. asbestos).
- Providing training (to both managers and employees) in HSE issues and risks.
- Staying up to date with the changes in the relevant laws.
- Developing health and safety campaigns and awareness.
- Provide trainings and educational support to the project’s employees at induction and during the course of the project
