The Patient Care Attendant will play a vital role in supporting patient safety and comfort during their stay and procedures within the paediatric department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the safe transfer of patients to and from beds, chairs, wheelchairs, stretchers, or trolleys while ensuring all necessary safety measures are observed.
- Escort and transport patients securely for off-unit procedures, maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout.
- Ensure the accurate delivery of all correctly labeled specimens to designated destinations, adhering strictly to standard precautions and hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification of Matriculation; completion of Intermediate is preferred.
- At least one year of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow oral instructions delivered in Urdu.
- Demonstrate a positive and receptive attitude in the workplace.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including morning, evening, and night rotations.
