Trainee Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and development of project plans, schedules, and timelines using planning software.
Support the creation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, and quantity take-offs with accuracy and attention to detail.
Monitor project progress against established schedules and update timelines as necessary to reflect current status.
Conduct material, labor, and cost analyses for ongoing and upcoming construction projects to support budgeting and decision-making.
Maintain, organize, and archive planning and estimation documents to ensure easy retrieval and version control.
Coordinate effectively with project teams, site supervisors, and procurement personnel to gather and verify required data.
Assist senior estimation engineers in tender preparation, budgeting processes, and the generation of reports for project stakeholders.
Learn and apply industry standards, best practices, and company procedures to all estimation and planning tasks.
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in estimation engineering.
Develop strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills by working closely with experienced engineers.
Communicate project-related information clearly and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth workflows.
