Key Responsibilities
Execute operational tasks with consistency and excellence within the India Payment Operations domain to ensure reliable and scalable service delivery. Collaborate closely with the regional team to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), fostering a results-driven and cooperative environment. Investigate, resolve, and escalate operational issues promptly, serving as a subject matter expert and first-level escalation point for crises and incidents. Maintain operational excellence by following established procedures and staying updated on critical changes. Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to address complex problems, enhance operational processes, and support the rollout of new and existing product features. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to evolve Payment Operations services and boost efficiency. Coordinate risk assessments and mitigation efforts related to products and processes to safeguard operations and customers. Mentor and train new and existing specialists, contributing to the development of a skilled and knowledgeable team.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operational role, preferably within payments or fintech, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and have experience collaborating directly with product and engineering teams. Basic data skills, including proficiency with tools such as Looker, are required for gathering and analyzing relevant data points. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary. Flexibility to work across different time zones is important. Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to prioritization and project management are expected. Candidates must exhibit attention to detail, independence, and a proven track record of delivering impactful projects. Proactive risk management and mitigation skills are critical. The ability to communicate clearly, adapt messaging for various audiences, and confidently challenge ideas when appropriate is valued. A positive, humble, and solution-oriented mindset with openness to feedback and continuous learning is essential. Experience in building relationships with external partners and internal teams is also required.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
