A non for profit organization engaged in support of vulnerable communities through its programmes for Orphan kind, Thirst Relief, Emergency Response, Healthcare and Feed Our World in various areas all over the country. Organization requires services of “Orphan Home Coordinator”, duties of that position could be as under but not limited to these:

The role of the Orphan Home Coordinator is to interact with Al-Shukar Apna Ghar’s (AAG) children and foster mothers, provide guidelines, in accordance with those provided by the Manager Projects, and see that these guidelines are followed.

  • To provide educational support to AAG’s children and collect their school reports for the review of Manager Projects.
  • To ensure that the children are complying with proper hygienic procedures.
  • To be knowledgeable regarding the children’s whereabouts at all times.
  • To administer appropriate approved discipline when necessary. (The children are never to be struck or deprived of food).
  • To provide guidance and support to the foster mothers for accomplishment of their responsibilities more effectively.
  • To engage with foster mothers and children and help them in understanding of their problems and their solutions.
  • To arrange meetings twice a month with AAG’s foster mothers to ensure smooth functioning of AAG.
  • To properly record minutes of every meeting with foster mothers and share it with the Manager Projects.
  • To communicate with Manager Projects regarding all issues of importance whether or not discussed in the meetings with foster mothers.
  • To file a written monthly report on the progress and functioning of AAG and submit to the Manager Projects in first week of the following month.
  • To properly maintain and keep update all record of AAG’s children, foster mothers and attending visitors at AAG.
  • To regularly supervise and monitor AAG in terms of their cleanliness and ensure a healthy, safe and peaceful environment.
  • To help in new admission of children at AAG, maintenance of their record and assist the Manager Projects in related decisions.
  • To purchase groceries and other consumable items for AAG from the designated vendors and maintain proper record of invoices for submission to the finance department.
  • To ensure quality and quantity of food served to the AAG’s children.
  • Keep a detailed written health record on all children. This includes noting all medical and dental issues when the children are first admitted to AAG.
  • To manage petty cash expenses of AAG and provide summary with supporting invoices to the finance department.
  • Responsible for all administrative functions of AAG keeping informed the Manager Projects.
  • To arrange recreational and educational visits to nearby places and also organize in-house healthy entertainment activities/games for children.
  • To prepare and submit report of any activity conducted at AAG with pictorial record.
  • Responsible to take children to the hospital for medical treatment when needed and be vigilant in terms of children health issues.
  • To ensure availability of quality education (formal/religious) to all the children in AAG.
  • To ensure proper security protocol are followed at AAG.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the Supervisor.
