As a People Advisor at FrieslandCampina, you will be an integral part of the People Advisory Capability Pool, providing expert support in operational and recurring HR processes. Your role focuses on individual case management, including handling sensitive matters such as illness, involuntary leave, underperformance, and assessment preparation. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers, offering guidance and support to ensure smooth HR operations aligned with local business group and location needs. This position requires a flexible, data-driven approach, allowing you to contribute across different projects and regions to maximize impact on employee experience and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the first point of contact for individual case management, supporting employees and managers with issues related to exit, performance, illness, and other HR matters.
- Manage complex, knowledge-intensive tasks such as handling illness cases, involuntary leave, underperformance, and preparing assessments.
- Guide employees and managers through self-service transactions, HR portal navigation, and interpretation of HR policies.
- Provide tailored local HR services using expert knowledge of relevant HR systems and processes specific to the business group or location.
- Escalate business-specific queries to the People Advisory Lead Project Management when necessary.
- Implement HR policies, projects, and initiatives within your region or location, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Support both global and regional projects aimed at enhancing the overall employee experience.
- Act as an HR representative and change agent for the implementation of the new HR model on site, driving continuous improvement in employee experience.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of employee data within the Horizon system, collaborating with the Horizon Service team to update records as needed.
- Assist with the job evaluation process and support position management and organizational data management.
- Support HR Business Partners (HRBPs) during talent review and performance management processes, particularly for the non-management team population.
- Aid line managers with individual performance management needs, including Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) actions.
- Contribute to onboarding programs and other HR initiatives as required.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in individual case management within HR, including handling sensitive employee matters such as illness, performance issues, and involuntary leave.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, systems (preferably Horizon or similar), and self-service HR portals.
- Ability to interpret and communicate HR policies effectively to employees and managers.
- Experience in implementing HR projects and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and change agent.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, especially in maintaining accurate employee data and supporting position management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with HRBPs and line managers to support talent management and performance processes.
- Flexibility to adapt focus across different projects, businesses, or countries based on organizational needs.
