As a People Advisor at FrieslandCampina, you will be an integral part of the People Advisory Capability Pool, providing expert support for operational and recurring HR processes. Your role will focus on managing individual cases such as exit, performance, and illness, while delivering tailored HR services that align with the needs of specific business groups or locations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, guiding them through HR policies, self-service tools, and complex case management, all while contributing to a positive employee experience and supporting organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the first point of contact for individual case management, offering support and guidance to both employees and managers.
- Manage knowledge-intensive tasks including handling cases related to illness, involuntary leave, underperformance, and assessment preparation.
- Assist employees and managers with self-service transactions, HR portal navigation, and interpreting HR policies.
- Provide localized HR services by leveraging expert knowledge tailored to the business group or location, including HR systems support.
- Escalate specific business queries to the People Advisory Lead Project Management when necessary.
- Implement HR policies, projects, and initiatives within your region or location, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Support global and regional projects aimed at enhancing the overall employee experience.
- Act as the HR representative and change agent for the implementation of the new HR model on site.
- Focus on continuous improvement of the employee experience through proactive engagement and feedback.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of employee data in the Horizon system.
- Collaborate with the Horizon Service team to update employee records as required.
- Support the job evaluation process to ensure proper role classification.
- Assist HR Business Partners with talent review and performance management processes for the non-management population.
- Support line managers with individual performance needs, including Performance Improvement Plan actions.
- Contribute to onboarding programs as needed to facilitate smooth integration of new employees.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in individual case management within an HR environment, including handling sensitive cases such as illness and underperformance.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, systems, and self-service tools.
- Ability to interpret and communicate HR policies clearly to employees and managers.
- Experience in data management and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Capability to work on multiple projects and adapt focus based on organizational priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and change agent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
