As part of EY’s Global Delivery Services (GDS), you will join a vast network of over 80,000 professionals across ten countries, supporting consulting, assurance, tax, strategy, and knowledge services. This role centers on full-stack development using Microsoft’s .NET ecosystem and React, where you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications. You will also mentor junior developers and take ownership of features from initial concept through to production deployment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React, managing complex UI interactions and state.
- Design and implement backend APIs with .NET (C# using ASP.NET Core or Framework), ensuring robust business logic and system reliability.
- Create and optimize SQL Server database schemas and queries to maintain data integrity and enhance performance.
- Participate in system architecture decisions focusing on scalability, structure, and integration patterns.
- Build RESTful API endpoints with proper authentication, validation, and error handling.
- Write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, deploy applications to Azure or on-premises environments, and monitor system health.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, QA teams, and fellow developers.
- Optimize application performance, including load times, database queries, and React rendering.
- Maintain detailed API documentation and architectural records.

Required Qualifications
- Strong full-stack expertise in Microsoft technologies: React for frontend, .NET/C# for backend, and SQL Server for data management.
- Experience developing enterprise-level applications with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Proficient in SQL Server optimization techniques such as indexing and query tuning.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical decisions to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues across UI, API, and database layers.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in .NET and React development with multiple production projects.
- Deep knowledge of C# features including LINQ, async/await, delegates, generics, and modern language constructs.
- Expertise in RESTful API design, authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, Windows Auth), and role-based access control.
- Advanced React skills including hooks, state management, component architecture, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with CSS-in-JS or CSS modules, responsive design, and styling best practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library, along with debugging tools.
- Proficiency in Git version control with branching strategies and workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools like Serilog or NLog.
- Understanding and application of design patterns (Repository, Factory, Observer, Strategy) and SOLID principles.
- Ability to build clean architecture with clear separation of concerns.
