Pharmacy Manager

This role involves managing pharmacy operations to ensure strict adherence to established policies and procedures. The incumbent will coordinate with vendors to procure medicines as needed, particularly focusing on the efficient handling of high-value items on a consignment basis. The position requires overseeing internal and external audits to maintain accurate inventory control and meet inventory targets. A key aspect of the role is optimizing stock levels and implementing risk mitigation strategies to maintain flexibility in inventory management. The individual will also drive key performance indicators and promote continuous improvement within logistics and supplier operations, while fostering strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business. Collaboration with the quality department is essential to ensure full compliance with quality standards and to identify and address any process gaps within the pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure strict compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures across all services.
- Liaise with vendors to arrange timely procurement of medicines and implement process flows for managing high-value consignment items effectively.
- Manage and coordinate internal and external audits to maintain robust inventory control and accurate records.
- Monitor and achieve inventory targets, optimize stock levels, and implement risk mitigation strategies to maintain operational flexibility.
- Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and promote continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and supplier management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to generate repeat business and maintain strong relationships with regular customers.
- Oversee vendor evaluation, selection, and registration processes to ensure quality and reliability of suppliers.
- Identify and streamline any gaps in pharmacy department processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain ongoing coordination with the quality department to ensure 100% compliance with quality standards.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in pharmacy operations management or a related field.
